New Farm Powerhouse
The Powerhouse Arts Centre is located in the inner city suburb of New Farm and is home to contemporary performing arts and theatre, live music and film. However, the building was once the power house that ran the Brisbane tram network back in 1920. It was decomissioned in the 1970s and the building stood derelict for many years until it became The Powerhouse that we know today that supports up and coming local talent.
