Workshop: Painting for All Levels
This workshop is catered to those with any range of experience in art, allowing you to design and complete your own painting using acrylic paints. Be introduced to a variety of techniques associated with the paint medium. Designed to help you use perspective aspects to pencil-draw your picture design on paper. This image will evolve onto a canvas, resulting in a canvas painting you can be proud of.
The class will begin with practical advice regarding paint selection, and preparing surfaces for painting. Tips on selecting and looking after brushes and palettes will be given, along with advice on choosing colours, how to mix colours accurately, and how to modify colours within a painting. Further explanations will also focus on how to thin or thicken paint, speed up or slow down drying time, and create textured ground or even-toned washes.
