Walk For Awareness 2014
The Mental Awareness Foundation (MAF) strongly advocates for the rights, acceptance and recognition of people dealing with mental illnesses and leads the crusade to break the taboo of talking about suicide and depression.
The MAF Walk for Awareness is open to everyone. There is no required age or fitness level. This is an opportunity for the community to come together to support each other, to break the silence on mental illness and to contribute to the funding of the Mates In Construction and GROW programs for people with mental illness.
The offical finale for the Mental Health Week 2014 and strongly supported by Open Minds.
