The Long Player Sessions

This year Brisbane Powerhouse will be celebrating some of the finest records ever dedicated to tape with a series of very special shows dubbed The Long Player Sessions. Staged across three separate nights, each Long Player Session  sees two Brisbane bands performing a classic albums from start to finish...plus a few of their own tunes thrown in for good measure. This month we feature Texas Tea performing their interpretation of the lo-fi, minimalist Post by Paul Kelly and Sue Ray performing My Baby Just Cares for Me by Nina Simone, the definitive album that inspired Sue’s personal journey into the world of Jazz.
