Ever wanted to draw a portrait or a selfie? Convinced you can’t draw? Join this class to get an incredible confidence booster and leave the evening with your first caricature in hand.
WHAT WILL WE COVER?
Face structure: We will talk about how to build up a face using simple shapes and how to use different emotions to create a funny but truthful personality on paper;
Body structure: Learn about basic body structure you need for a caricature;
How to draw: Practice drawing your first caricature.
WHO WILL BE TEACHING?
Joyu Wang is a backpacker from Taiwan. She majored in biology and human anatomy back home but decided to travel the world after graduating. She spent last 1.5 years busking as a caricaturist across Australia. See some of her incredible work on her Facebook page and catch her class whilst she’s visiting Brisbane.
