The Empty City
What if for one day only, everyone disappeared and the city belonged to you?
Tom and his mum are shopping in the city. Dragged past anything interesting, Tom is bored, stuck between the crockery section and a hard place. Things escalate when everyone disappears, leaving only their shoes.
The city is Tom's and Tom's alone. He adventures through the urban wilderness towards the shop of his dreams: Mr Crazy's. Come along with TOM as he gets tricky, rocks the city, and fights a curious enemy.
Based on the 2008 CBCA Notable Australian Children's Book of the same name, The Empty City uses a unique combination of projected image, original music, animation and physical performance to take you on a remarkable kaleidoscopic journey.
