Tasmania's Triple Alliance
Tasmania is fast becoming world famous for it's high quality produce yielded from all over the state. The last ten years, in addition to the increase within the food industry, have seen huge evolutions for both the beer and whisky industry.
With such pristine water and luscious barley, it is hardly a surprise! Moo Brew, released in 2005 is the largest Tasmanian owned brewery producing some of the highest quality craft beer in the country.
Whisky and beer, however, are not far removed, both beginning with the three simple ingredients; water, yeast and barley. The Nant distilling co. began in 2008 and is rapidly stealing the hearts of single malt whisky lovers in Australia and all over the world, with intentions to increase production by as much as 500% this year.
The Nant Distilling co.'s event "Tasmania's Triple Alliance" endeavours to showcase Moo Brew Craft Beer and the Nant Single Malt Whisky accompanied by a small selection of Tasmania's finest produce through five stages of tapas style matching, as collaborated by Nant Distilling Company’s Kylie Warnes.
The event will be hosted by Luke Phillips, Queensland ambassador of Moo Brew, and Ryan McLeod operations manager of Nant. This event will also feature debut launch of Moo Brew’s Vintage Stout aged in Nant Whisky barrels.
The event will also pre-empt the Nant Whisky Bar's new menu.
