Sunshine Coast’s biggest caravan and outdoor expo returns to Nambour

Explore all the gear you need for an outdoor escape this August.

Are you ready to join the quarter of a million Queenslanders already enjoying the RV lifestyle or are you a seasoned road-tripper looking to level up? There will be something for everyone at the Let’s Go Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo, rolling into the Nambour showgrounds from Friday 22 August to Sunday 24 August 2025.

This three-day event is not to be missed and is your gateway to the latest and greatest in caravanning, camping, and outdoor adventure – packed with expert advice, hand-on demos, and all the gear you need to take your journey to the next level.

With over 100 exhibitors, this is the biggest Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo yet! You’ll find everything from sleek new caravans, motorhomes, and campervans to rugged off-road RVs, budget-friendly camper trailers, and all the latest in accessories, and camping essentials.

Don’t miss the VANSafe Masterclasses hosted daily by the team from Talking Towing. These sessions break down the essentials of safe towing – from understanding weights and loading to practical driving tips – ensuring your setup is road-ready and secure.

Looking for a fun-filled day the whole family will enjoy? The Sunshine Coast Caravan & Outdoor Expo is more than just caravans—it’s a full weekend of entertainment and adventure!

Be wowed by working dog demonstrations as skilled sheepdogs show off their herding talents and get up close (but not too close!) with venomous snakes and reptiles at the thrilling and educational Reptile Awareness Displays.

Enjoy the sounds of the live music stage in the VAN JAM Beer Garden, and don’t miss Mick the Camp Oven Cook as he dishes out bush cooking tips and hearty outback flavours.

Kids can enjoy free face painting on Saturday and Sunday, in between exploring the latest in caravanning and outdoor gear with their parents. With something for every age and interest, it’s the perfect day out for families who love the great outdoors.

Jason Plant from Caravanning QLD says, “Queenslanders have a deep love for the outdoors, and the Sunshine Coast Expo is where that passion comes to life. Whether you're upgrading your setup or just dreaming of your next adventure, this event brings together the best of the caravanning lifestyle in one vibrant, family and pet-friendly space.”
