Soirée with The Idea of North

After sell-out performances at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and a whirlwind tour of Asia, The Idea of North returns to The Brisbane Powerhouse for one night only.

Undoubtedly Australia’s most acclaimed vocal ensemble - the international award-winning group has been ABC Jazz & Classics highest-selling artist for several years - The Idea of North is in excellent form with new songs and their ever-wry, self-effacing wit. Soirée celebrates some of the finest arrangements the group has performed and recorded over the years including songs from their latest ARIA nominated album, Extraordinary Tale.

Sophisticated interpretations of classics and original songs feature alongside unique arrangements of contemporary and traditional tunes.

These four extravagantly talented singers, charming and urbane, have created a very real freshness and relevance for a cappella singing.
