This class is aimed at students that have already studied dance for a number of years and confident with the basics and learning to build upon these. This is my most experimental class; including some pointe for those up to that level, and venturing heavily into the realms of modern dance and contemporary dance.
This class will be working on a very classically inspired choreography this term.

FRIDAY
Pieuvre (Elementary Modern Ballet)
Friday 19 June - 7 August
5:50 - 6:50pm
Elementary is aimed at students that have learnt the very basics and are learning to expand their movement vocabulary with classical ballet and modern dance. We'll work on a new exciting choreo to implement all the new techniques we learn as we go along. This class will also be working on a classical choreography.
This class can also be extremely beneficial if you're practicing in another style and wish to add an extra element and depth to your performance.

SATURDAY
Étoile de mer (Beginners Classical Ballet)
Saturday 20 June - 8 August
9:30am - 10:30am
Brand new beginners class for those with no dance experience, not very confident or want to start from the scratch. We will learn the basics from the very beginning and touch on a little bit of the history of dance as we go along. At this level we will learn barre exercises, some centre work and a small choreography to rope it all together.
Many dance styles have a basis in classical ballet and is extremely beneficial if you're practicing in another style, such as bellydance or burlesque. Use the classical technique you learn here to augment your regular style.
