Warning - unexpected jam sessions may occur

What makes them tick? Where do they find their muse? What has inspired their most well-known songs? Find out when you join a series of singer-songwriters on the second Saturday of every month. Listen as they play their favourites and then share the stories that lie behind their lyrics and wind their way through their melodies.

Each month these outstanding artists will inspire you and share their creativity.

Saturday June 8: Hosted by Kellie Riordan

Brad Butcher
Brad Butcher has a voice that can silence the room with the softest of melodies. A gift that has to be seen to be believed. His music comes from the right place. His songs, inspired by his life, the people in it and the places he’s been, are crafty and spunky and honest.

There’s been a buzz building about this bloke as a genuine, unaffected singer-songwriter. He put on a great showcase at BIGSOUND in Brisbane late last year and he’s just released his debut album.

Andrea Soler
Since the release of Andrea’s debut album Earth On An Axis she has become a festival sweetheart, and was even claimed as “A Larmer Tree Festival favourite (UK)”.

Her band of gypsies have performed at the renowned Woodford Folk Festival, Dorrigo Folk Festival, Mullum Music Festival to name a few, and has also won them ABC North Coast Artist of The Week, and more recently became a 2012 Music Oz Awards Finalist.

The Bowls Club
The Bowls Club started with a drink and a lazy sunset at one of any of The Bowls Clubs just up the road from your place.

Since that time The Bowls Club have brewed their own style of music into appetizing and tasteful pop, skipping merrily from genre to genre always maintaining their unique blend of refreshing entertainment.

The Bowls Club is fearlessly lead by long time singer/songwriter Chris Costello, with Conrad Taylor on bass, and held together at the blocks by drummer Ben Carstens.
