Born in 1966, Ross Jones was raised in Otaki, a small town located north of Wellington in New Zealand. After graduating from the Wellington School of Design, Jones spent the next 15 years working on commissioned paintings for companies and private individuals around the world, including: Bank of America, Penguin Books NY, The Wall St Journal and Time Inc.
Dubbed New Zealand’s very own Edward Hopper, Jones now paints full-time, supplying his version of everyday life - of paradise recalled. His paintings are held in private collections in England, Ireland, North America, Australia and New Zealand.
