Rodeo Bull Ride

Grass Roots Redland Bay is making history this coming year in 2015 as we are hosting a Seniors International Bull Riding Challenge.

The day has been created to get families together of all ages on the Australia Day weekend in particular 24th January 2015. Gates open at 11am and the event runs until 7pm then the Free Concert starts at the Redland Bay Hotel "Creedence Clear Water Revival & john Fogarty Tribute"

Fans and supporters can meet with the Cowboys on the Friday Night before, being the 23rd Jan 2015 where will be running a Meet and Greet at the Redland Bay Hotel. Fund raising will begin with a local businessman and local Politicians climbing on a mechanical bull at a cost of $50. All funds from this will go directly to The Cage Youth Foundation, our beneficiaries for the day.

Local business owner Jesse James Principal of Ray White Redland Bay will again attempt to ride another 700kg bull too to try and raise funds for The Cage Youth Foundation on the day.

The action will be happening all day with the Junior Cowboys to the Senior Cowboys riding some of the rankest bulls in the country. We will be auctioning of the cowboys as a regular attraction to the public and if the cowboy they buy wins the event, they will receive a cash prize. Last years winners got over $1800 to take home. There will be local food vendors including Roamin Pizza, Gypsy's Cafe plus more. Licensed bar will be open and centre stage entertainment will also be on the day.

Discounted tickets are currently available online at www.grassrootsbullriding.com  or pay gate prices on the day. You can also go toRayWhiteRedlandBay and buy over the counter for the same discount of $5 off each ticket purchased for a little time longer. Like and share our facebook page for your chances to win give aways and tickets

Last year saw over 100 competitors and a crowd of just under 2500 people and this year with our main event The International Challenge we expect a few more than last.
