Red Thread Stories — Playback Theatre

Playback Theatre is unique improvisational theatre where moments and stories from people's lives are re-enacted or ‘played back’ spontaneously by a troupe of actors and a musician.

Come along to a special event inspired by Our Dreaming: animating country, State Library’s latest exhibition. This playback theatre performance explores our connection to place, from past to present, and what happens when important places are lost. Red Thread Playback is inspiring, magical and an opportunity to connect deeply with others around the stories that matter in our lives.
