ReconciliAction 2013

Celebrate ReconciliAction at SLQ – a fun-filled day for all
Queenslanders and a great way to end National Reconciliation Week.

Sit by the river and enjoy live entertainment as children play their way through a range of activities.

Join up-and-coming Indigenous artist Chern’ee Sutton to create a collaborative art installation, and enjoy traditional tucker with a twist.

The day kicks off with children’s storytelling and a kid’s concert with
traditional language songs, followed by live entertainment from Elements Collective, Linta J, Skotti Hunter, Alicia Mellor, Mark Lowndes, MC Kitch and Classik Nawu.

Deadly Choices will also be there to share their message of making healthy lifestyle choices through cooking demonstrations, information stalls and children’s games.

While you're at SLQ check out Logan State of Mind, an exhibition that uncovers and showcases positive role models, success stories and fantastic creators that hail from the Brisbane suburb. The exhibition will take place in The Studio space from Tuesday 28 May;
its final day will be Sunday June 2. Live performances will highlight Logan musical talent and bring the exhibition to life at 6pm each night throughout the exhibition.
