Prostate Cancer Information Session

A staggering 1 in 7 Australian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Often the disease has no symptoms - therefore early detection is key to survival.

The Wesley Hospital is holding a free information session to allow men and their families to learn more about prostate cancer, diagnosis, treatment options and managing side effects. Men from the age of 40 and their families are welcome to attend.

Expert speakers will include renowned urologist Dr John Yaxley, men’s health specialist Dr Michael Gillman from the Pelvic Medicine Centre, a specialised continence physiotherapist and a nurse counsellor.
