Powerkids - Brisbane's Annual Children's Festival 2013
Powerkids to the rescue! Draw! Sing! Stretch! Watch! Jump! Cook! Play! Become a Hero for the day!
Powerkids – Brisbane’s Annual Children’s Festival, will run over 11 exciting and fun-filled days, all within the Brisbane Powerhouse’s big house of adventure.
This year the theme is ‘My Hero’, with loads of activities to help kids understand their true superhero qualities and what it means to help others.
Get your entire family together to enjoy the feature theatre productions, The Empty City, Argus, and KAPUT! Kids can join forces with other young people to explore the many workshops and activities at Powerkids, including Up and Away Video Play, Hero Booth and ifilmmaker.
But the entertainment doesn’t stop there. Be sure to take in the daily free activities where kids can sing, learn, create, play and meet some of their favourite Network Ten TV personalities.
Two special days not to be missed this year are Grandparents Day on Thursday 4 July, and Laser Beak Man Day on Sunday 30 June, for families and children with Autism.
Kids of every age will get to make new friends as they learn, laugh and get active.
