Picnic for Peace

Commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War with a day of food, entertainment, music and films for the family to enjoy. Take part in one minute's silence at 11am to pause, reflect and pay respects to the brave men and women who have served, sacrificed and suffered so we can enjoy the freedom we have today.

Enjoy performances from the Birralee Singers, the South Brisbane Federal Band (The Feds), Tim Jackman, a live reading of Elaine Acworth's My Father's Wars and more... There will also be guided conservation tours and fun interactive children's activities throughout the day.
