'Petite Pieces' 2017 Competition
Every February, Aspire Gallery runs our favourite and most popular competition – ‘petite pieces’ - to kick off another year of amazing exhibitions!
This competition is open theme and open medium, with the only restriction being that work has to fit within 40 x 40 x 40cm. With the endless possibilities available, there is a wide variety on show in this year's competition - from traditional watercolour, to ceramic, to jewellery and woodwork.
Over 80 artists will be competing for the Judges' Choice Prize - a solo show - and many other prizes offered from local businesses including the Art Shed - Brisbane, Brown Cardigan Cafe and The Henderson!
The public is also encouraged to participate through voting for their favourite artist in this year's competition, with the most popular artist being awarded a cash pool prize.
