Orangutan Hero visits Brsibane
Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia (BOSA) is thrilled to welcome internationally respected wildlife conservationist and orangutan saviour, Lone Dröscher Nielsen to Australia as part of a series of fundraising and awareness events taking place in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Lone will visit Brisbane for one night only, where guests will have the unique chance to hear the “voice of orangutans” speak firsthand about her near 20-year journey working to rescue and rehabilitate the endangered orangutans of Borneo.
Sharing captivating stories of desperation, humour and hope, Lone will provide personal accounts and footage from her time at the sanctuary, working to rescue orangutans from the brink of extinction. Lone will also give a detailed account of a BOS orangutan’s extensive journey from rescue to release, and provide updates on the world-first conservation program that has seen some 120 rescued orangutans returned to freedom in protected Bornean forest in the past year, with many more to follow.
Adults $25. Children/Concession: $15
