My Fiction Neon Cola Signs Single Launch
Two of Brisbane’s best outfits My Fiction and Astrid and The Asteroids are joining up to launch their brand new singles at Brisbane Powerhouse this May.
My Fiction has been on hiatus for the past 12 months working on the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut album FIREROMANCEFIRE.
The new single Neon Cola Signs is the first release from the album slated for release late 2013.
Astrid and the Asteroids burst onto the scene last year, quickly garnering a following with their upbeat blend of soul, jazz and pop and Astrid’s stunning voice.
This performance will launch their single West End from their forthcoming debut EP.
Duration: 2hrs with a 20min interval.
“My Fiction should lead the next wave of Aussie festival faves.” Rolling Stone
“Personal, uplifting, clever, poetic… all of those things.” The Courier-Mail
“…it’s just a great album. Like a cute kid on a merry-go-round these songs may take a few spins to settle in, but once there on, they won’t leave.” Scene Magazine
