Music talk at SLQ with Tim Steward

Spend an evening with Brisbane music stalwart Tim Steward at State Library of Queensland. Listen in at this free event as Tim chats with music journo Noel Mengel about his musical trajectory from frontman of The Madmen, to his decades-spanning turn in Screamfeeder, the establishment of his local Stone Groove record label, the life of touring and the lessons learned from a life dedicated to the pursuit of music.

Tim is now taking a turn at solo work and performing as singer for band We All Want To. So take the journey with him as we look to the future and past of Brisbane’s gentleman troubadour.

With so much musical experience and wisdom to impart, this is a great talk to come to for anyone interested in the music business and seeing what it really takes to be in, be successful, and be there for the long run.

This event is part of State Library’s “Live! Queensland Band Culture” program, celebrating the soundtrack of our state through live performances, exhibitions and events. For more info on program, visit slq.qld.gov.au or download the free SLQ Live! app from Google Play and The App Store.
