Lyn Barnes and Alan Thomson ~ Exhibition of the Decade

August 2012 marks the 10th year of exhibitions for renowned creative duo, outback painter Lyn Barnes and celebrated opal jeweller Alan Thomson.

Over the past ten years, Lyn and Alan have hosted a gala opening night coinciding with the Ekka to showcase their unique new work at New Farm’s Graydon Gallery.

The annual event has become an integral part of Brisbane’s event calendar with the who’s who of city and country coming together in the stylish setting.

A display of stunning art and opal reflecting the arid landscapes that inspire the creative pair sit side-by-side for ten days only. 

It’s a one-off opportunity for invited guests and members of the public to snap-up original art works and unique pieces of Australian jewellery.
