L.M. Noonan - Simple Interventions

This exhibition features new works by L.M. Noonan developed with the intention to be ‘authentic’ not original. When creating works for this exhibition, Noonan has challenged our known notions of collage as a picture-making process, instead creating moments of abstract connection between elements seemingly disparate and dissimilar.

PUBLIC PROGRAMS During the exhibition
L.M. Noonan Workshop: Figments
Tuesday 19 May 10am – 2pm
$10 per person

Come and get lost in the moment as you create your own paper and card wall-works through a process of attraction, elimination, focus and serendipity. Loretta will guide you through the process of material selection and the construction of imaginary figments,
giving a fresh approach to the tradition of collage. A short floor-talk will take place prior to the workshop. Maximum 10 participants, ages 16+, bookings essential.

Sharon Jewell Workshop: Windows in Windows
Tuesday 2 June 10.30am – 1pm
$10 per person

This workshop is designed to help you find ways of initiating and developing creative ideas through a range of drawing processes. How can an idea grow from its inception into something intriguing, without pre-empting its outcome? In this workshop we will begin
with a couple of simple principles for making a drawing and take these on a journey in which you will begin to make original and surprising decisions. A short floor-talk will take place prior to the workshop. Maximum 10 participants, ages 16+, bookings essential.
