Know Your Child Workshop

Know Your Child (KYC) is a 2 hour workshop for parents with children in the age group of (0 - 12 yrs) that gives practical wisdom, helping them understand the nature of children and enabling them to deal with day to day issues with ease and joy. During this two hour interactive workshop, small things that adults tend to overlook that may have a deep impact on children are brought to light. Conducted all over the world, Know Your Child also gives simple tips on how parents can help their children enhance creativity, improve focus and concentration, be independent and responsible, communicate better, feel more free and natural, and respond to stress in an emotionally healthy way.

The way children view this world is very different from how adults view it. A child's view is full of wonder, amazement, excitement, innocence, mischief and simplicity. A child imbibes things from the environment around it and expresses ideas that it has acquired from observation. 

And for a child, parents form a big part of the child’s environment. However, because there is a fundamental difference between the perspectives of a child versus an adult, parent often encounter these frustrating situations while dealing with a child:

- He/She does not listen to me 
- He/She jumps around and breaks many things 
- He/She does not eat properly 
- Children are just glued to the TV / Computer all the time 
- He/She is so stubborn. He/She just does not listen to me. 
- He/She rebels so much. 
- He/She is so shy. She does not make friends easily and many more… 

Through a combination of interactive processes, insights in child behaviour and simple exercises, this workshop helps to: 
- Understand your child better 
- Discipline the child gently but effectively 
- Deal with some typical issues (shyness, addicted to TV, hyperactive, doesn't eat well,...) 
- Enhance the quality of the time you spend together 
- Foster their enthusiasm and creativity 
- Enhance their social skills and confidence
