KATE CEBERANO & PAUL GRABOWSKY: LOVE SONGS
Two of Australia’s most respected musicians, Kate Ceberano and Paul Grabowsky will perform an
unforgettable afternoon and evening of Love Songs on Sat 01 October at Brisbane Powerhouse.
A musical romance like no other, Ceberano and Grabowsky will play stripped back renditions of the
greatest love songs of the last 50 years, with music that has deeply influenced both the artists.
“A thousand light years ago (or so it seems) Paul and I put together this set of love songs for family and
friends for Valentine's Day. Consequently, everyday concerts with Paul have become just like Valentines
Day!” Ceberano says.
Having performed the odes to love across the country, the show will continue to delve deeper into their
relationship at Brisbane Powerhouse, with Brisbane audiences in for a very personal journey.
“Brisbane Powerhouse is the perfect venue for us. It’s intimate and warm…like a giant kiss or sonic
embrace,” Ceberano says.
Combining Ceberano’s prolific creative output, with 24 albums to her name, and Grabowksy’s vast
contribution to Australian jazz, Love Songs will span the emotions of love itself.
