Brisbane is home to a variety of live music and entertainment in a number of venues across the city, along with some major festivals, carnivals, sporting and community events that everyone will enjoy. To see what's on in Brisbane this month, browse through the list of events below. Want to submit an upcoming event?

If you know of an event that should be listed here, submit it to the site for free! To submit your event, register first and once you are logged in proceed to add a new event. All events submitted go through a screening process and will need to be approved before becoming visible on the site.


Japanese Kanzashi flowers workshop

Join jewellery designer and paper artist Mabina Alaka for a hands-on workshop creating traditional Japanese Kanzashi flowers from fabric. Mabina will show you how to make the petals and the other elements for a brooch.

If you’d like to continue creating at home, you can purchase Kanzashi tools and fabric on the night from the SLQ Shop.
