If you know of an event that should be listed here, submit it to the site for free! To submit your event, register first and once you are logged in proceed to add a new event. All events submitted go through a screening process and will need to be approved before becoming visible on the site.


Home Festival 2012

Home Festival is a free, all-ages event held in the beautiful Raymond Park, just behind the Pineapple Hotel in Kangaroo Point. All of the people involved in the festival are doing so voluntarily, with the common goal of creating a meaningful community gathering.

The festival aims to:

  • Embrace and connect the local community
  • Provide a strong platform for up-and-coming performers of all genres to showcase their work
  • Allow everyone – from children to seniors – to share the joy of creativity through free workshops and activities
  • Enliven Brisbane’s precious open spaces, focusing on the vitality and importance of inner-city festivals
  • Treat the environment with the utmost respect

Whether home is simply the roof you sleep beneath or the people you share it with, Home Festival aims to share with the community a sense of belonging, inclusivity, learning, expression and most importantly, fun!
