Glad Tomorrow
Glad Tomorrow is the story of three indigenous students who have come from communities in Queensland to study at a boarding school in the city.
It’s nine o’clock on the last day of first term, and students are preparing to fly back home the next morning.
Emily feels great pressure to succeed and make a better future for her community. Her cousin Jonty sure can run fast, but not in the direction everyone seems to want for him. And Ned is still trying to keep his promise to not get too homesick.
For some, three o’clock can’t come soon enough.
