'From East to West' Classical Music Concert
'From East to West' promises to be a magical night of classical music. It is being held on Saturday February 23 at 7pm. It is the Australian Premiere of 'A Himalaya Concerto' The World Premiere was held outside London in January with great reviews. We have world class musicians performing. Idris Harries on Clarinet, Hila Yusopov on Piano and Renat Yusopov on Cello. The concert is a fundraiser for a project in Nepal by Transform the Nations. We educate and rehabilitate girls/children who have either been prevented from or victims of sex trafficking. Some of the girls have been trained in customer service, baking and cake decorating. Our vision has always been to open cafes throughout Nepal to give these precious girls dignity and a future filled with hope and opportunities. Our cafe is called 'The Bamboo Cafe'. All proceeds from the concert will help us to continue in this project. Tickets are $45 each and are available through Eventbrite, on our website or by contacting Margaret Dell on 0415560242.
