Elixir

All-male circus show Elixir dials up the heat at Brisbane Powerhouse, popping with death-defying acrobatics and lashings of sex appeal as part of Wonderland Festival.

Equal parts physical mastery and slapstick comedy with a sprinkling of Australian testosterone, Elixir is guaranteed to set pulses racing with their potent mix of chemical balance (and imbalance), new-school acrobatics and old-school humour.

Uninhibited by cliché́ or expectation, subversive and hilarious, the all-Australian production follows the story of three enthusiastic, slightly bumbling yet skilfully acrobatic scientists who attempt to create the elixir of life. The mayhem that follows is a beautiful mix of incredible acrobatics and impeccable comic timing.
