Dumb Criminals Film To Release In Cinemas Nationally This October
Australian cult comedy hero, Paul Fenech (HOUSOS, FAT PIZZA, BOGAN HUNTERS) is set to showcase his brand new feature film alongside the cast of the film at a special event screening at Event Cinemas Loganholme on 28th October, 2015.
DUMB CRIMINALS follows Rabbit, Rongo and a group of fictional dim-witted crooks and their dirty dumb deeds as they hope to help a young girl get the medical treatment she needs. Inspired by true crimes around the world, they attempt to raise money plundering their way through an array of poorly planned, stupidly executed and downright silly crimes.
Based on the popular webseries of the same name, the film features some familiar faces including Fenech as ‘Rabbit’, Kev Taumata as ‘Rongo’, Alex Romano as ‘Jimmy the Junkie’, and Benny Maclean as ‘Pothead’. The film also features cameos from Angry Anderson, Greg King, Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones, and Andy McPhee.
Brilliantly offensive, the film features Fenech’s trademark no-holds-barred and irreverent comedy as it follows the hilariously inept crooks in the style of series such as HOUSOS and BOGAN HUNTERS.
Tickets to the Loganholme Screening are available for purchase at $20 each, via www.tugg.com.au/dumb-criminals
