Disney’s Newsies: The Broadway Musical
Heading to a cinema near you in February 2017 is Disney’s Newsies: The Broadway Musical, the smash-hit Disney musical packed full of exhilarating dancing and toe-tappingly fantastic tunes.
From the producers that brought you Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King comes this high-energy explosion of song and dance that has taken America by storm since it opened in 2012.
Inspired by the real-life ‘newsboy strike of 1899’, Newsies is set in New York City at the turn of the century and tells the tale of newsboy Jack Kelly, a charismatic and rebellious leader of a group of ‘newsies’. When publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Rudolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies his army of newsies to strike.
Disney’s Newsies: The Broadway Musical will be released in cinemas across Australia for one night only on February 19th 2017.
Don’t miss your only chance to experience the unmissable magic and dance of Disney’s Newsies: The Broadway Musical!
