December Resident

Occurs every week on Friday

They’re fresh, they’re free and they’re moving in. Kick off your weekend with the cool sounds of our monthly live music residents on Friday nights as some of the best Indie-Pop/Alt Country bands around stake their claim on the Turbine Platform. Each band will have an entire month to capture the hearts of Brisbane music lovers with a set every week. December we feature alt-country music delight Sue Ray. Sue has been performing professionally for over 15 years, and in that time, released two critically acclaimed albums, Red Roses  (Magoo, Powderfinger and Kate Miller-Heidke) and Best Beware  (Jamie Trevaskis, Nathan Hollywood and Tom Cooney). In 2012 Red Roses was nominated for Best Country Album in the AIR Independent Music Awards.
