December Billycart Markets - Sandgate
Sandgate will once again be a flurry of activity when Billycart Markets opens it's huge Christmas Market on December 7th 3pm-7pm. Now in it's 5th year Billycart has become a local icon of Sandgate & Brisbane.
The biggest market of the year on the Billycart and Brisbane calendar - this is one you do not want to miss. If you haven't started or finished your Christmas shopping this is your chance.
Billycart brings together the best selection of unique stall holders for this family market. Unlike any other market, Billycart offers a boutique shopping experience for it's customers with products for little people being the speciality. Bring the whole family because between the gourmet food section and the shopping and entertainment it is a family outing and experience not to be missed.
The live Science show at 5pm with a live rocket launch is a huge crowd pleaser, along with everything from Goat Pies and Handmade Dumplings to Brownies to delight your taste bugs. Grab a blanket, sit and enjoy the atmosphere. After, stroll the twilight market to shop at some of Brisbane's best small businesses. From handmade and homemade to Australian designed creations - something for everyone. There may even be a special appliance by a certain bearded man….
Billycart will also have a "Wishing Tree" for those less fortunate to give back to this Christmas - Please bring a gift to donate with Age & Gender on the package - sharing the love.
