Collusion Music Presents Transient Beauty, a chamber ballet by choreographer Gareth Belling and composer Susan Hawkins.
Four dancers and four musicians create more than a fairy tale, a beautiful and inspiring story of a woman's search to rebuild her family.
Transient Beauty returns to Brisbane for one show only on 11 October, 2014. Collusion Music will be joined on stage by dancers Rosetta Cook, Melissa Tattam, Asher Bowen-Saunders and Gareth Belling. You won't want to miss this beautiful fusion of dance and music at the Conservatorium Theatre.
From the opening sequence, Belling’s muscular and fluid choreography creates a striking image of mankind’s desperate yearning for connection and belonging. Susan Hawkins has woven her original compositions between existing pieces by Carl Vine, Nigel Sabin and Thomas Green to create a tensely elegant soundscape for this evocative chamber ballet.
