Capalaba Central Snowflake Activation
Capalaba Central in partnership with the Redland Community Centre are inviting the local community to give back to those in need this Christmas by participating in a FREE in-Centre Snowflake Workshop and Toy Donation Drive.
Located at Capalaba Central Shopping Centre from Thursday, October 11 until Wednesday, October 24, the initiative will call on community spirit and goodwill in the lead up to the festive season with $1 donated to the Redland Community Centre for every snowflake decorated.
The Snowflake Workshop will be located in Centre Court for kids, adults and anyone in between, to get creative and decorate personalised wooden craft snowflakes. The unique snowflake creations contributed by locals will form part of Capalaba Central’s Christmas decoration display which are set to adorn the Centre for the season ahead.
In addition to this, locals are encouraged to spread the festive spirt further by gifting new toys to the onsite Toy Drive to support Redland Community Centre with their 2018 Christmas Appeal. For all new toys gifted via the in Centre Toy Drive, supporters will receive a complimentary $10 Capalaba Central gift card.
To give back to the local community, Capalaba Central Shopping Centre will give away 400 scoops of delicious gelato from 11am until sold out on Saturday, October 13 and Saturday, October 20.
