Calamvale Carnival
The last Calamvale Carnival won the prestigious 2014 Brisbane Lord Mayor's Community Event of the Year. This year's carnival is back, bigger and beter than ever, with special guest artists, Justice Crew, live in concert.
The 2015 Calamvale Carnival will also featured 22 EKKA-style rides, with economical all-you-can-ride armband options available. There will be 25 food outlets including several from Eat Street Markets, community groups, 6 hours of free stage entertainment, market stalls, roving entertainers, buskers, sideshow alley, Calendar Firemen, the HSV Car Club, Australian Champion Cheerleaders and Gymnasts, a 3.5 hour evening concert, and a huge fireworks show.
The Carnival will be a family-friendly and alcohol-free event, with a significant security and police presence. There will be ATM machines, sit down eating areas, an Auslan Sign Interpreter, and baby change/feed facilities.
Entry is FREE.
The Calamvale Carnival is on Sat 25th July, from 11am to 9pm. For more information, follow the carnival on Facebook or visit the website at www.calamvalecarnival.com.au
