Brisbane Organic Growers Annual Fair 2015
The 2015 BOGI Fair will be held at the Peace Hall, 102 McDonald Road Windsor (near the Albion railway station), on Sunday the 30th of August from 9am to 3pm. It is the 29th Brisbane Organic Growers Fair. This year, the fair has changed from October to August due to other major garden events organised for the month of October.
Check the extensive selection of vegetable plants, herbs and fruit trees while wandering around the stalls providing seedlings and many other products. Organic fertilisers, additives and pest solutions will be available to the public at members’ prices from our BOGI Shop, with organic seeds including many heirloom varieties provided from our BOGI seed bank and from Eden Seeds. Organic gardening books will be on sale at the fair.
Organic growers will be on hand to answer any queries, after which the home-made fare at the BOGI Café beckons, offering freshly cooked organic sausages, quiches, salads, cakes, tea and coffee. Then check the members’ produce entered into the BOGI Competition which shows what can be achieved with organic methods.
Come in for a look and stay for the day which concludes with the produce auction from 2.30 in the afternoon. Entry is free for all ages.
Brisbane Organic Growers Fair is proudly supported by Brisbane City Council.
