Brisbane Organic Growers Annual Fair

Looking for a great day out? Come along to the Brisbane Organic Growers' Fair on Sunday 28th August from 9am to 3pm at the Peace Hall, 102 McDonald Road, Windsor.

We look forward to welcoming Annette McFarlane as our keynote speaker along with knowledgeable speakers, lovely stalls to visit, demonstrations to watch, scrumptious food to enjoy and an animal nursery to entertain the children.

The fair will be located at the Albion Peace Hall, 102 McDonald Road Windsor, under the Albion overpass and into the neighbouring park, with organic growers on hand to answer your queries along with an extensive selection of vegetable plants, herbs and fruit trees to inspire you to make a start in your own garden.

Stalls will sell everything from seedlings to recycled gardening tools. Organic fertilisers, additives and pest solutions will be available to the public at members’ prices from our BOGI Shop, with organic seeds including many heirloom varieties provided from our BOGI seed bank and from Eden Seeds. Organic gardening books will be on sale at the fair.

After wandering around the stalls, enjoy the home-made fare at the BOGI Café including freshly cooked organic sausages, quiches, salads, cakes, tea and coffee. Then check out the members’ produce entered into the BOGI Competition which showcases what can be achieved with organic methods.

Come in for a look and stay for the day which concludes with the produce auction from 2.30 in the afternoon. No pets please. Entry is free for all ages.
