Brisbane Gypsy Jazz Festival 2012

After the success of its first season in 2010, the Gypsy Jazz Festival returns in August for more high-energy music. During two nights, Gypsy Jazz and traditional Balkan music will be revisited by modern artists to offer you an explosive, attractive and exciting repertoire. Featuring DJ Tagada, founder of the BALKANS BEATS PARIS, internationally acclaimed French quartet Les Doigts de l’Homme and Balkan music artist Loulou Djine, these artists will mix tradition with various different genres, offering a modern interpretation and passionate expression of Gypsy Jazz. Get ready for your evenings to be jazzed up again.
