BANFF Mountain Film Festival
Hot on the heels of the largest, and one of the most prestigious, mountain festivals in the world, the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is heading to Brisbane.
It all began 1976, in the mountain town of Banff, Canada, where the week long festival in November attracts over 300 films entries; award-winning films and audience favourites are among the films chosen to travel the world.
Award Categories Include, Best Film on Mountain Sport, Best Film on Mountain Environment, Best Film on Mountain Culture, Best Film on Exploration and Adventure, People’s Choice Award and more. Travelling from remote landscapes and cultures, to up close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports, the Banff Mountain Film Festival is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.
