The Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art (CAIA) department at the Queensland College of Art has for a long time been a meeting place and the central hub for our artistic community. It is where we come together as a community in a good way. It is a place for celebrating and reclaiming country, a place for reconnecting with our histories, and a place for artists to find their own way. The new and the old belong at CAIA with equal respect.
