Argus

Occurs every week on Sunday, Wednesday & Thursday

Step into the whimsical wonderland of Argus, where table tops grow grass and water bottles become the depths of the ocean.

Making use of nothing but household objects and four pairs of hands, Argus transcends from the simple to the sublime when a fragile little creature seeks to find a home in a world where he just doesn’t fit in.

This quietly touching piece highlights the beauty of an impossible life; one that is full of playfulness, joy and laughter.

Argus will expand the imaginations of adults and children alike.

This event is part of Brisbane’s Annual Children’s Festival, Powerkids.

Over 11 fun-filled days, Brisbane Powerhouse will transform into a big house of adventure for kids and families.

The theme this year is ‘My Hero’. There are loads of activities to help your kids understand their true superhero qualities and what it means to help others.

If you’re looking for the perfect family outing, come along to some theatre. There are three theatre shows to choose from: The Empty City, Argus, and KAPUT!  Plus, there are two extra special days for you to enjoy — Grandparents Day and Laser Beak Man Day for families and children with Autism.

While you’re here, be sure to take in the daily free activities where your kids can sing, learn, create, play and meet some of their favourite Network Ten TV personalities.

There is something for every child at this year’s Powerkids, so get ready for the most exciting school holiday yet!
