A Night in the JOL: Music 7 Libraries
A night in the JOL is a free, monthly series delving into Queensland’s rich and diverse history. This March at State Library of Queensland, join Ian Townsend from ABC Radio National in conversation with expert panellist’s musical director, entertainer and teacher Dr Robert Keane, and folk singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and parodist John Thompson, as they discuss how libraries inspire and inform their compositions and performance.
This talk will take place in the intimate setting of the John Oxley Library, where you have an opportunity to join the discussion and get up close to historical treasures on display.
