My name is Lauren and I am a DONA Childbirth Doula based on the southside of Brisbane, QLD. I am passionate about birth and understand how beautiful and special the birth of your baby should be for you. When a woman gives birth surrounded by loving, supportive people and remains aware and in control of her experience, birth is an achievable, enjoyable, miraculous occurrence thatyou really will be able to say was "the best day of your life".
As a birth Doula, my role is to provide you with continual physical and emotional support throughout your labour, and to provide you with information and facilitate communication between you and your medical care provider (if you choose to have one). I also have experience withLotus Birth (umbilical non-severance)and can assist if you choose this option. If you are seeking support but do not want me to attend your birth, you can engage me for childbirth education and/or birth preparation only. I have completed Childbirth Education and Breastfeeding Counseling training.

Doctors, midwives, partners and Doulas can help you, support you and keep you safe, but ultimately you are the one that does the work of giving birth to your baby, so why not give yourself the best chance possible?
