The Suit Society was founded by cousins, James Knell and Jonathon Radford, after losing confidence in ill-fitting off the rack suits in 2012. Both tired of stuffy, dark, smoky and expensive tailor houses alienating most young men, they yearned for something different. For the next year, they scoured the globe in search of the perfect master tailors. Eventually, they partnered with prominent tailors, with a commitment to superb ethics, fabrics and workmanship. To ensure the fabrics used to craft their garments were suited to the Australian climate, Suit Society sourced fabrics exclusively from English and Italian mills (all being 100 percent wool, super 110 grade or finer).
