2010 Bellydance & Drumming classes are just about to kick off - our classes have been full of beautiful ladies keen to learn our style, but of course we've got room for more in our circle! We're also pleased to announce a new time and location for our Tribal Basics classes - with all classes now located at Raw Dance Studios, 43 Evesham St Moorooka. Our Tribal Basics class will be on offer Monday evenings from 6.30 - 7.30pm - our ten week term costs $120 and will introduce you to the Gypsy Caravan format, and of course mastering both sides of your body as you learn to recognise and move to the tribal beat! Classes kick off with an introductory taster class for $15 on Sunday January 17 at 3pm, and the term commences right after on Monday January 18. Tribal Bellydance focuses on posture, and understanding of the basic dialogue which can then be shared in this community based style. The dance is powerful, and strong and completely unlike anything you've seen before - tell a friend and come along together :) Our classes are friendly and determined, technique is our passion! Brisbane’s first Bellydance School focused exclusively on Tribal Style Bellydance - we offer classes across different levels to motivate and encourage your individual dance growth. We also regularly hold workshops to focus on particular areas of the dance, including Sword mastery and skills. Formed in 2006 Tribal Blossoms offers tuition & performance in Gypsy Caravan & American Tribal Style (ATS) Bellydance. With influences from the Silk Road, Middle East & beyond this dance evokes memories of how groups used to dance – with passion and sharing, captivating while remaining connected as a group. We're also really excited to announce a 10 week course in Drumming - with Heidi offering classes in Middle Eastern rhythms on Thursday nights in Annerley for 2010 - so if you're a dancer wanting to add that extra dimension to your dance, or if you've always wanted to master the tabla - come along, classes are friendly and focused to get you learning! Open to all levels! Keep your eyes peeled to our website for video links and coming events! www.tribalblossoms.com Cheers Dee
