Maximo Dance Studio aims to provide its students with a broad range of knowledge and skills in a variety of dance styles delivered in extracurricular educational setting. By this, the studio hopes to not only enhance students education and have a positive impact on their physical health, but also to teach children vital team work and other life skills, as well as enjoyment of movement.
Maximo Dance Studio welcomes students from 3 years of age to young adult. From early on, youngest dancers begin to learn vital skills in a unique Prep Dance Program. It was designed in-house and is the perfect foundation for future dance practice. It is also excellent for children’s physical development, gross motor skills, coordination, musicality. On completion of Prep Dance Program, students graduate with excellent foundations and are confident to continue to the next level.
The studio uses world-renowned Vaganova method of teaching Classical Ballet. This teaching program is largely adapted to the Australian standards to equip our students to local expectations and is a wonderful method for our ballet students, proven to generate better results over other methods.
Teaching staff have a wealth of industry experience, with local and international knowledge of practices. The studio prides itself on safe, disciplined and productive learning environment with a caring culture to enable results whilst instilling love and enjoyment of the art of dance.
Some of Maximo Dance Studio students have been members of Brisbane City Youth Ballet, Ballet Theatre of Queensland and successfully auditioned to full time and part time programs at Dance School of Excellence, Queensland Ballet Academy and other professional ballet schools locally and internationally.
With the uncompromising quality of dance education the studio provides, it also aims to nurture every one of its' students’ talents and abilities - encouraging them to grow and enjoy every minute at Maximo
