Shangri-La Gardens combines three inter-related businesses. The Function Centre, which has been Shangri-La Gardens core business for the last 65 years and a 40 room, 4-star boutique motel as well as Sylvia’s Restaurant and Wine Bar.

Shangri-La Gardens boutique motel is situated in Wynnum West on Brisbane's Bayside and is proud to be part of the Clem Jones Group.  All rooms feature king or queen beds with luxurious bed linen, bedside tables and lamps, ensuite bathrooms with shower or bathtub, air conditioning, sofa bed, widescreen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridge, opening windows, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, additional sink, free internet access via both wi fi & Ethernet, your own phone number and voice mail, swimming pool and free parking.

Shangri La Gardens offers 5 separate function spaces ranging from a small private boardroom seating 10 people to a vast ballroom with space for 300 people. In addition, our lush tropical gardens are available for wedding ceremonies or as a calming break out space during conferences & meetings. We offer full catering services & our dedicated functions manager is available to assist you at all times.

For your convenience, Sylvia's Restaurant is on site and serves breakfast from 6.30am from Monday to Friday and dinner is available from Monday to Saturday from 5.30pm. Chef Gavan Hunt has created a delicious menu featuring traditional favourites as well as a selection of innovative and exciting dishes. Sylvia's is fully licensed and features an extensive wine list in addition to a wide selection of beers & spirits. Sylvia's also features craft beers on tap from local brewer Bacchus brewing.
